Remote Assistance
Our support team is only a couple clicks away. You can have JLJ
Technology assist you without an on-site service call. As long as you have an
internet connection, we are able to connect to your computer and see
exactly what you see on your monitor.
How it works:
- Call our Service Desk/Office at 636.240.0505.
- You will be instructed to go to our website and fill
in the form on the right. All
you
need to do is enter your name and the 9 digit code we will give you
over
the telephone and click "Connect Now."
- Watch out! Here comes the hardest part: sit back and watch.
You benefit in several ways:
- Lower support costs. Since you don't have to pay for an on-site
service
call, you avoid the one-hour
minimum for labor. We bill in 15 minute increments for remote
support.
- You can see what we are doing as we are doing it. You have the
security
of knowing what we are doing, and we can show you avoid and/or
correct your
issue.
- Keep your sanity! You know, we all have done it; spent way too
much time
trying to figure out how to get out of the corner we just painted
ourselves
into. You know that there is a simple fix - but you just don't
remember
what it is. This is where our help desk service comes to the rescue.
You
can get your mind back to doing your work in a matter of minutes for
a
small remote service charge.
- Know who you're dealing with. I would be apprehensive about
letting a
complete stranger have access to my computer. We are your local
support,
and have a strict confidentiality policy.
- Safe and Secure. Once we disconnect, we no longer have access to
your
computer, and we can only gain access when you input a valid code
from your
computer. It’s the same level of security that online banks use. No information is ever stored on our system, we can only
access
our clients’ computers if they’ve given permission.
